The foundation has supported housing initiatives for students at Southern Utah University (SUU), including the privately owned Gateway North Complex near the university campus.[3][4]

In 2015, the foundation donated $7.5 million to SUU, with $5 million allocated for the construction of the Dixie Leavitt Business School Building and $2.5 million for student scholarships.[5][6] The Business School was completed in 2017.[7][8] The foundation provides over 200 scholarships annually to SUU students.[9][10]

In 2018, the foundation contributed to The Sorenson Legacy Foundation Center for Hope, a childcare facility at SUU.

In 2022, it supported the construction of the Virgin Valley Pioneer Park in downtown Mesquite, Nevada.[11]
