People who were citizens, subjects or nationals of the Principality of Wallachia which existed with various levels of self government from 1330-1859. In 1859 it merged with Moldavia to form the United Principality of Wallachia and Moldavia. For much of its history it was under domination of the Ottoman Empire, but in its earliest period it was fully independent.
