Budden Memorial Church (Almora)

The Budden Memorial Church is a Methodist church located in Dharanaula, Almora, Uttarakhand, India.[1]
Description
[edit]Built in 1897, the church was constructed in memory of John Henry Budden,[2] a British missionary associated with the London Missionary Society,[3] who served in the Kumaon region from 1862 until his death in 1890. The foundation stone of the church was laid on 2 March 1897. The church is built in the Romanesque architectural style, featuring a notable large 18th-century clock.[4] The Church is approximately 30 meters in height and 40 meters in length.[5]
