Bandar Seri Coalfields is a township in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia. It is located in the north-western corridor of Klang Valley neighbouring well-known townships such as Puncak Alam, Bandar Saujana Utama, Bandar Tasik Puteri and City of Elmina.
Despite bearing the address of Sungai Buloh, Bandar Seri Coalfields falls under the jurisdiction of Kuala Selangor Municipal Council.
Background
[edit]Bandar Seri Coalfields is part of a larger 2,600 ha (6,500 acres)[2] development owned and developed by Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad. It sits on a palm oil plantation land called Tuan Mee Estate.
Launched in 2011, Bandar Seri Coalfields is now 70% built and is home to an estimated 10,300 residents.[1]

[edit]- BSC Waterfront Shops is the first phase of commercial development located in Precinct 2 of Bandar Seri Coalfields. It has high occupancy rate with various convenient stores such as 99 Speedmart, 7-Eleven, clinics, cafes such as ZUS Coffee and Richiamo Coffee, various restaurants, auto service centres and other businesses to serve the needs of the residents.
- BSC Central is the second phase of the commercial element in Bandar Seri Coalfields. Despite its completion in 2018, the take up rate is pretty slow with many vacant units still available.
- Coalfields Retail Park is an upcoming shopping mall located between BSC Waterfront Shops and BSC Central. Slated to open in 2026,[4] the mall is expected to have a variety of renowned supermarket, F&B and fashion outlets as well as an ice-skating rink and children's indoor playground, among other facilities [1]
