The 24th Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Awards took place on February 1, 2020, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, honoring the best production designers of 2019.[2] The nominations were announced on December 9, 2019.[3]

On November 26, 2019, Visual futurist Syd Mead was announced as the recipient of the 2019 William Cameron Menzies award.[4]. Mead died on December 30, 2019, and was given the award posthumously at the ceremony.[5]
