Anglican Diocese of Sokoto

The Anglican Diocese of Sokoto[1] is one of eleven within the Anglican Province of Kaduna, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria.[2] The immediate past bishop is Late Rt. Rev. Augustine Omole who died in April 2021. The current bishop is Rt. Rev. Idris Ado zubairu who was translated from diocese of Bari to Sokoto diocese. Nigerian Tribune</ref>
