Andreas Stamatonikolos (Greek: Ανδρέας Σταματονικολός, born 16 November 2004) is a Greek long jumper and triple jumper.[1][2]
Career
[edit]He won the gold medal in the Greek U20 Outdoor Championships in long jumping.[3]
In the 2023 Panhellenic Athletics Championships he got 14,57m for the GS Ilioupoli club. In 2023, Andreas was 5th in the 9th Gala Almatis.[4] He was 7th in the 13th International Jumping Meeting Men's Long jump.[5][6] And 5th in Men's Triple jump.[7]
In 2024, Nikolaos and his brother Nikolaos, competed in the 41st Athens Marathon of 2024.[8][9][10]
In the 2025 Tsatoumas Street long jump he did 7.53 m in long jumping.[11] in an article by Nova Sports they said "Andreas [Stamatonikolos] falls short a few centimeters from the limit for the European U23 (7.55 m), as he has this year 7.53 m. in the closed and 7.51 m in the open track."[11][12]
Personal life
[edit]He's from Ilioupoli.[13] He has a older brother Nikolaos Stamatonikolos[note 1] who's also an athlete in long jumping.[14][15][16][17]
