Alex Moore is an American professional football official in the National Football League (NFL) since the 2022 NFL season, wearing uniform number 49.[1]

Career

Moore officiated in the American Athletic Conference and the Southeastern Conference.[2] He was the side judge for the 2019 Rose Bowl.[3] He was a referee for the 2022 USFL season, and officiated the 2022 USFL Championship Game.[4]

Moore was hired by the NFL in 2022 as an umpire, and was promoted to referee for the start of the 2025 NFL season following the reassignment of referee Tra Blake to the umpire position.[2]

Personal life

Outside of the NFL, Moore is a compliance manager.[citation needed]
