Aaliyah Qureishi is an Indian singer-songwriter and actor. She made her Bollywood debut in 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film Jawan co-written and directed by Atlee.[1] She has also appeared in productions such as Bandish Bandits and Eternally Confused and Eager for Love.[2] She also played a primary character Sahira in the Netflix movie (March 2025), Naadaniyan, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor

Musical career

In addition to acting, Aaliyah is also known by her music alias Jhalli. She released her first single Pretty in 2018 and has since produced several tracks including Mukaddar (2022), Paraye (2023), and Don't Come Back (2023). Her debut titled Why Should I? was released in 2022. She composed the song You and I for the Bandish Bandits.[3][4]

Aaliyah has been nominated for the IIFA 2025 in the category of best actor in supporting role (female) for her performance in Bandish Bandits.[5]
