The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards will be held on May 8, 2025, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Reba McEntire will return as host[1]
Background
[edit]On November 2, 2023, the Academy of Country Music announced that it would renew its partnership with Prime Video through 2025.[2][3] Reba McEntire will host the ceremony for the eighteenth time. In press releases, ACM says "the monumental show will celebrate six decades of Country Music and feature unforgettable performances by the genre's most legendary and multi-award-winning stars".[4]
In the 40th and 50th ceremonies the anniversary Milestone Award was presented, recognizing artists that had "advanced the popularity and acceptance of country music by accomplishing milestones unique to the Academy of Country Music", and were voted on by the ACM Board of Directors; It is likely anniversary Milestone Awards will be presented for the historic 60th ceremony.
