The 23rd Zee Chitra Gaurav Puraskar, presented by the Zee Marathi television network, honored the best Indian Marathi-language films of 2022.[1][2]
Me Vasantrao led the ceremony with 17 nominations, followed by Godavari with 15 and Ved with 12.[3]
Me Vasantrao won 7 awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress, making it the most-awarded film of the ceremony.[4] Prasad Oak's Chandramukhi dominated the music categories, winning Best Music Director,Best Playback Singer – Female and Best Chereography. Har Har Mahadev won in both of its nominated categories.[5] Surprisingly, Riteish Deshmukh's Ved, despite securing 12 nominations, won only two awards in non-nominated categories—Popular Film and Popular Actress.[6]
Rahul Deshpande received three nominations for Me Vasantrao and one for Godavari, winning for the latter.
