The fourth round of AFC matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification will be played in October 2025.[1]

Format

The third-place and fourth-place teams from the third round will be divided into two groups of three teams. Each group will play a round-robin tournament at a centralized venue.[2] The winners of each group will qualify directly for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while the runners-up will advance to the fifth round.[3]

On 13 June 2025, AFC confirmed Qatar and Saudi Arabia as the host countries. [4]

The fourth round draw is scheduled to take place on 17 July 2025 at Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka, Japan.[5][6]

Each group will contain one team from each pot.
