American college baseball season
The 2025 Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team will represent Vanderbilt University during the 2025 NCAA Division I baseball season . The Commodores will play their home games at Hawkins Field as a member of the Southeastern Conference . They will be led by 23rd-year head coach Tim Corbin .
The 2024 Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team posted a 38–23 (13–17) season record. The Commodores finished fourth in the SEC east regular season, and reached the semifinals of the 2024 Southeastern Conference baseball tournament , before losing to their in-state rivals, Tennessee. Vanderbilt earned an at-large bid into the 2024 NCAA Division I baseball tournament , where they were seeded second in the Clemson Regional. There, they went two-and-out suffering defeats against Coastal Carolina and High Point.
Following the conclusion of the season, assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, Mike Baxter left the coaching staff. Assistant coach, Tyler Shewmaker, left to take a coaching role with Coastal Carolina .[ 2]

Preseason awards will be announced in February 2025.
Preseason SEC Player of the Year
The coaches poll was released on February 7, 2025. Vanderbilt was predicted to finish seventh.[ 3]
