The 2025 Memphis Showboats season is the third season for the Memphis Showboats as a professional American football franchise and the second season in the United Football League (UFL).[1] The Showboats will play their home games at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and will be led by head coach Ken Whisenhunt.
Head coach, John DeFilippo resigned along with general manager Dennis Polian on August 10, 2024.[2][3] Both served one season with the Showboats. The team would later appoint Ken Whisenhunt and Jim Monos as Head Coach and General Manager, respectively.[4] Whisenhunt missed Week 1 of the season to attend to a personal matter, during which offensive line coach Jim Turner served as interim head coach.[5]
