The 2024–25 Niagara Purple Eagles women's basketball team represents Niagara University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Purple Eagles, led by 10th-year head coach Jada Pierce, play their home games at the Gallagher Center in Lewiston, New York as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Previous season
[edit]The Purple Eagles finished the 2023–24 season 21–14, 15–5 in MAAC play, to finish in second place.[1] They defeated Quinnipiac[2] and Siena[3] before falling to top-seeded Fairfield in the MAAC tournament championship game.[4] They received an at-large bid to the WNIT,[5] where they would defeat Le Moyne in the first round,[6] before falling to Vermont in the second round.[7]
