The 1942 Texas A&M Aggies football team represented the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas—now known as Texas A&M University—in the Southwest Conference (SWC) during the 1942 college football season. In its ninth season under head coach Homer Norton, the team compiled an overall record of 4–5–1, with a mark of 2–3–1 in conference play, and finished fifth in the SWC.[1]
Texas A&M was ranked at No. 37 (out of 590 college and military teams) in the final rankings under the Litkenhous Difference by Score System for 1942.[2]
