Abbreviations for race tracks in results table headers (general discussion)

- I think standarization is a good idea, but I'd love us to hunt for reliable sources for these abbreviations. Surely some exist. glman (talk) 13:08, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
Riverside

- The abbreviation RIV is easier to associate with the name of the track than RSD. I have no idea who came up with this abbreviation. Officially, the road course should probably be abbreviated to RIR, but that overlaps with Richmond International Raceway. Mark McWire (talk) 02:57, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
Proposal: Remove "Sponsor" parameter from Template:Infobox NASCAR team
