NPR (Feb)
- Hi there. I've good understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and already working on a lot of clean-up tasks/AfDs. I'd like to help with the AfC backlog and would love to help and give feedback to newbies on their drafts. Thank you. Gheus (talk) 09:04, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Not done... because we're going for NPR trial instead. :) -- asilvering (talk) 04:36, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

- Hi Admin, I am inactive in Wikipedia editing and reviewing drafted articles for last 6-7 months due to some personal reasons. So, I want to regain my rights to review articles agian and clear those backlogs. Thank you! Fade258 (talk) 14:36, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

New (Feb)

- Hello, I would like to join WikiProject Articles for Creation as a reviewer. I have been editing Wikipedia for several years and have experience with creating and improving articles, including work on Biographies of Living Persons (BLP). I am familiar with Wikipedia's notability guidelines, sourcing policies, and editorial standards.
I would love to contribute by reviewing drafts, assisting new editors, and helping maintain the quality of newly created articles. Please consider adding me to the list of participants. Thanks! Endrabcwizart (talk) 11:03, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- I was going to say yes, but your AFD stats are, quite frankly, atrocious. When part of our job is to evaluate whether a draft will pass AFD if accepted, how do you rectify the disconnect between your editing experience and your AFD stats? Primefac (talk) 20:54, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
- I understand your concern about my AFD stats. While my past record may not be the strongest, I continuously learn from past discussions to improve my approach. I want to assure you that I don’t rush decisions—I carefully review Wikipedia’s policies, especially WP:BLP, and WP:N, before making any judgment. My priority is to verify the reliability of references and ensure there are no copyright violations. I take a cautious approach when evaluating drafts, and if I’m not fully confident, I prefer to skip rather than make a biased decision. I'm always open to learning, improving, and receiving constructive feedback. Endrabcwizart (talk) 08:40, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Probation, which will be evaluated in 3-6 months. Being on probation only means that you can be removed from the list for any reason without prior discussion. Primefac (talk) 13:23, 10 February 2025 (UTC)

- I sometimes go on the AFC help desk to help out new users(even though I am currently not a reviewer) and would like to be an actual reviewer. I also have quite some experience cleaning up vandalism and am a recent changes patroller. I have 2100+ edits and have been here for approx 2-3 years. Not done, quite a few issues indicated regarding the evaluation of reliable sources. Primefac (talk) 20:54, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

- Hello! I went to review a draft after a long while of minimal edits and realized that I no longer had access to the AFCH script. I could not find where it had been removed, so I looked through some edit histories and found this diff, which appears to be where it was taken away. It makes sense that I was taken off of the list, but unfortunately my NPR rights were only temporary. I would like to get back to editing, including reviewing drafts, soon. May I have the AFCH script again? Thanks! —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 19:19, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Asparagusus, is there a reason you prefer not to re-apply for NPR? If you do that, you won't need AFCHP. -- asilvering (talk) 20:40, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Asilvering, I have already applied for NPR and gotten a temporary right twice, and I would like to spend time building up my base of editing so I do not have to worry about impending deadlines and making the most of my user rights. When I have had the NPR right, I have not used it as much as I would have liked to. If you think I can get a longer temporary period or permanent NPR rights, then I will go apply there. Thank you! —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 14:22, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

- @Primefac Previously, I was granted confirmed NPR status after completing the probationary period, but my status was automatically revoked last week due to inactivity. Can you reinstate my previous confirmed NPR status? Tatupiplu'talk 07:02, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- No, but you are welcome to re-request at PERM; they're usually pretty quick about restoring access for inactives. Primefac (talk) 12:35, 10 February 2025 (UTC)

- I understand what makes a good, well-sourced article, and becoming an AfC reviewer seems like a great way to help maintain quality, guide new editors, and ensure Wikipedia remains a reliable source of information. United Blasters (talk) 08:57, 7 February 2025 (UTC)

- Acer-the-Protogen (talk · contribs · xtools · pages created · logs (block • csd • prod) · afd)
- I'd like to request access to the helper script. I always see how big of a backlog there is on AfC, and I would like to help reduce it. I am not 100% sure how many of my edits are undeleted to articles, but I am extended confirmed. I've participated in a few AfD's and started one (which looks like it'll pass. Here it is.
I understand if my request is not accepted.

- Reason for requesting afc helper script rights
I have authored three new pages; participated in a few deletions and have been a frequent contributor over the last year. Would welcome additional opportunities to contribute. Trex32 (talk) 23:38, 8 February 2025 (UTC)

- Hello, I was previously an AfC reviewer (see 2021 discussion) but lost access due to inactivity. Recently I have been providing some AfC comments with recommendations, and I would be happy to rejoin in official capacity to help address the backlog. I have been a Wikipedia user since 2009 and have made 3,800 edits to Wikipedia, my user page details some of my work and recent projects. Thanks! Caleb Stanford (talk) 19:12, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

- I'm most often active at WP:BLPN when I'm active. I'd like to participate here too by offering feedback to editors before publication to minimize WP:BLP related problems, and to help move good biographical drafts into article space. I like to provide talk page feedback, and I'm also open to explaining one-on-one to solo drafters how improve things. JFHJr (㊟) 04:18, 11 February 2025 (UTC) JFHJr (㊟) 04:18, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

- Reason for requesting afc helper script rights. I have more than 500 edits in main space. I want to contribute Wikipedia a draft reviewer and i am aware about the Reviewing workflow chart and Reviewing instructions. Bakhtar40 (talk) 14:26, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Not done. You've had a draft deleted via WP:G12 less than a month ago. I think you need some more experience before becoming a reviewer. -- asilvering (talk) 22:05, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- My edit count probably barely meets the minimum criteria, but I believe that I have a good grasp of all the policies since I have contributed to multiple areas. I would like to request for these rights on a trial basis, since I really want to work on reducing the backlog. I would like to disclose that I have one draft submitted to AfC, since I wanted some external opinions on the article before it got published. I will not review that article myself if I get these rights. TNM101 (chat) 13:44, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- Was there any truth to the tag placed on Draft:Airplane touring that it was AI-generated? Primefac (talk) 01:59, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- Nope. I found a source that stated some of the lines and then I used my own sentences to fill in the rest. Then I checked and I found the source wasn't exactly great and there weren't many other sources on the topic. That's why I requested CSD deletion, not because of the AI tag TNM101 (chat) 04:23, 17 February 2025 (UTC)

- I mostly engage with improving new pages like adding cats, short desc. , etc. and also quite active in AFD, would like to help further in the AFC reviewing for quality and to help with the backlog. AgerJoy talk 18:45, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Not done, does not meet minimum requirements. (You're close, though. Word of advice: AfD votes that just say "no evidence of notability" don't help the closer much. If you can state what specifically you checked or evaluate the sources that exist, that's much more helpful.) -- asilvering (talk) 20:57, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

- Hi there! I want to apply to become a AfC reviewer. I like helping out new editors to Wikipedia, and although my AfD record is small, it is good. I understand all the notability guidelines and have read the reviewing instructions. I have experience mainly in anti-vandalism and copyright patrolling, and I simply wish to expand my horizons!
