This noticeboard's primary purpose is to to attract the attention of the clerks to a particular matter by non-clerks. Non-clerks are welcome to comment on this page in the event that the clerks appear to have missed something.
The clerks may be contacted privately, in the event a matter could not be prudently addressed publicly (i.e., on this page), by composing an email to clerks-llists.wikimedia.org; only the clerk team and individual arbitrators have access to emails sent to that list.
A procedural reference for clerks (and arbitrators) is available at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Clerks/Procedures.

In the section Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/SmallCat dispute#BrownHairedGirl Portals history, last line, "deysopped" should be changed to "desysopped". Thank you. Ascchrvalstr (talk) 21:50, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Shortcut for CTOP appeals?
[edit]I find myself fairly regularly navigating to Wikipedia:Contentious topics § Appeals and amendments, either to double-check a rule or to link a user to it in the course of sanctioning them. Would it be possible to add a shortcut to that section, maybe WP:CTOPAPPEALS? (I could create the shortcut myself, but there's not much point if there isn't a {{shortcut}} box at the target.) -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 18:54, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
- I'll note that non-arbs/clerks have made those kinds of changes in the past to the page without consultation. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 20:50, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
- Even more so at WP:AC/P with adding shortcuts. I haven't thought of anything better than WP:CTOPAPPEALS, though I also like using anchors like WP:CTOP#Appeals. JensonSL (SilverLocust) 07:58, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
