Discussion
[edit]This would be better done using a database dump or as a Toolserver tool. Is there any reason you are requesting to do this as a bot? Anomie⚔ 18:03, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Please read WP:BOTACC and make sure to post messages with you main account. Also note that this is English Wikipedia and we do not deal with other languages. You need to get separate approvals from any other Wikipedias. See mw:Bot policy for a more relevant solution. Finally, given the amount of reads, would a Database dump be more suitable for your needs or do you really need the current list? Unless there is a justified reason and community support the bot should not be getting all 3.5 million page names which is at least 700 longish API requests. And given you are a new user, you may not be given a WP:toolserver account for direct SQL queries. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 18:12, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Denied. Task is better done with a database dump or toolserver query. Operator is unresponsive, and does not seem to have the necessary experience to be a bot operator at this time. Anomie⚔ 21:59, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
