FFD for Utah license plates

On generating the relist, I noticed that the files do not have an FFD notice on them. Please add the FFD notice to each file that has been nominated for deletion. Hello Theo.padnos! I came across your changes by chance while reviewing recent edits to Wikipedia. Edits to articles are publicly viewable in the page history.

To answer your second question: we can ping each other when we reply to messages, which triggers an automatic notification.

To answer your first question: Wikipedia is a community made up of volunteers—including myself—so there isn't really a single editorial body to contact with concerns. However, we do encourage discussion, and you have several options for that.

For one, you can raise an issue on the article talk page.
If you have questions, a great place to ask is the Teahouse, where there are lots of experienced editors to help you.
You might also find some useful info at Wikipedia:FAQ/Article subjects.
To propose specific changes to the article, I recommend you use the Edit Request Wizard.

That "maintenance tag" indicates that some statements in the article are not supported by reliable sources. The best way to fix it is to find sources and add them as references. If you can't find a reference for a statement, you are also allowed to remove the statement. Once the article has references to support all non-obvious information, you can remove the maintenance tag. See Help:Maintenance tag removal for more information.
