Medals for EuroBasket and others medals before 1991.
[edit]Hi,
As a long-time connoisseur of basketball, as well as all other sports, and as a professional journalist, I would like to draw your attention to the mistake you made in the presentation of Serbia. I will provide you with evidence in the form of links and screenshots in order to save your time.
On the official website of FIBA, you have taken away all the medals that Serbia inherited from the former state unions whose part it was. You did the same in the official newsletter for the basketball Olympic tournament (page 68), although back in 2012, the then president of the IOC, Jacques Rogge, wished Serbia to "win its the hundredth Olympic medal".
https://www.fiba.basketball/federation/Serbia In the tables for the World and European Championships which have not been updated for a long time, you also make the same separation. https://archive.fiba.com/pages/eng/fa/keyfigures/p/rc//tid//tid2//lid_38179_ct/0/cid/EMSM/_//index.html https://archive.fiba.com/pages/eng/fa/keyfigures/p/rc//tid//tid2//lid_38179_ct/0/cid/WMM/_//index.html
In the profile and presentation for EuroBasket 2022, you only counted the medals won since 1995, which is half true. SR Yugoslavia inherited the continuity of results and medals of the former country which was called SFR Yugoslavia. Thus, in April 1992, the basketball players were preparing to play in Barcelona, but the UN sanctions prevented them (I am sending a picture of the preparations).

In addition, before the World Cup in 2006, after the separation of the last state union, Serbia and Montenegro, FIBA noted that Montenegro became its 213 th member, while Serbia, as the current world champion (Indianapolis, 2002), gained the right to participate at the championship in Japan.

All other sports organizations, as well as the International Olympic Committee, unequivocally state that Serbia is the legitimate heir of all medals, results and successes of former countries. I will list them all for you:
UEFA and FIFA football associations:

IIHF hockey association - Serbia has not won a single medal in this sport, but look at the example of Russia and the Czech Republic, which were awarded the medals of the USSR and Czechoslovakia. https://www.iihf.com/en/medalists
And the most important organization – the IOC: https://oks.org.rs/istorija-olimpijskog-komiteta-srbije/ https://www.jutarnji.hr/vijesti/hrvatska/matesa-sve-olimpijske-medalje-do-1988.-godine-pripadaju-srbiji-i-tu-nema-pomoci-1542930
The fact that all the medals belong to Serbia is also not questioned by the Croatian Olympic Committee, whose president confirmed it back in 2012.
Our basketball federation celebrated 100 years of existence, and for the purpose of the exhibition, all the trophies were exhibited in Belgrade. Even today, they are in the showcases of the Basketball federation of Serbia.
So, Serbia national men's basketball team medals is: EuroBasket: 8 gold; 7 silver; 4 bronze World cup: 5 gold; 5 silver; 2 bronze Olympic basketball tournament: 1 gold; 5 silver; 1 bronze
