What's /Current supposed to be?

[edit]

Is the new Master Jay recall supposed to be listed under Wikipedia:Administrator recall/Current or Wikipedia:Administrator recall/Closed? Aaron Liu (talk) 02:35, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As per the first sentence on the Current page, This is a list of open administrator recall petitions and petitions that passed the threshhold for recall in the past 30 days so the administrator may run for Re-request for Adminship. isaacl (talk) 05:08, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Soni and Joe Roe: you edited the Graham87 recall, has the Master Jay recall been closed properly? TSventon (talk) 11:40, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Should it still be also listed on /Closed? Aaron Liu (talk) 12:18, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, actually it should since Jay resigned. But should a recently certified petition be listed there? Aaron Liu (talk) 12:22, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. There is a suggestion on the talk page of /Closed to expand the scope to cover all petitions, open and closed, which seems sensible to avoid the duplication. Petitions are not happening frequently enough that it would overwhelm things imo. Thryduulf (talk) 12:40, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

60% threshold

[edit]

May I ask why a re-rfa successful threshold is lowered to 60% and not the usual 75%? Tarlby (t) (c) 15:37, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It's the result of the consensus at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review/Phase II/Administrator recall#Reconfirmation threshold, the closing summary of which includes: There is consensus that being haled into an RRfA will put editors at a disadvantage and that the threshold for reconfirmation should therefore be set lower than RfA to correct for that disadvantage.
