Prose and MoS
[edit]Lead and infobox
[edit]- "Paris La Défense Arena, which was converted to a swimming pool for the swimming events." this statement could be said in the background so the lead doesn't have to use a source.
Done, I need to do this on all the articles at some point
- Definitely include how it was an anticipated race.
Done
Background
[edit]- No issues, see second comment for lead.
Qualification
[edit]- No issues.
Heats
[edit]- Include an "NR" for Ssengonzi's note section.
Done
- Missing accent marks and such: Clement Secchi, Daniel Gracik, Nikola Miljenic, Milos Milenkovic.
- Ah I thought I fixed all these by fixing the green links but that didn't fully work. That is a big pain. How did you know "Daniel Gracik" and "Nikola Miljenic" have accents, and where are the accents? IAWW (talk) 10:18, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- @It is a wonderful world Daniel Gracík and Miloš Milenković, a quick Google search would confirm their accents on my part Arconning (talk) 12:43, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- Athletes from 38th to 40th place could have shortened names.
Done
Semifinals
[edit]- See second comment in "Heats"
Done
Finals
[edit]- "fast open turn and underwater" ?
- I linked "open turn" and "underwater" here. Do you think that is enough? IAWW (talk) 10:19, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- I see, underwater is a technical term, gotcha! Arconning (talk) 12:45, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- "His finishing touch wasn't as well timed ", a bit informal. Make more formal to maintain encyclopedic tone.
- Changed to "He didn't finish as close to the optimum period in the butterfly stroke as Milák did". I'm really struggling to balance accessibility with formality here. What do you think? IAWW (talk) 10:19, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
