Change 'Queen Camilla' to 'Camilla, Queen Consort' 2A02:8012:4A27:0:E889:E83F:E671:7E90 (talk) 08:36, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The royal order of precedence in private.

[edit]

“It was revealed that the Queen altered the royal order of precedence for private occasions, placing the Duchess fourth”.

There is no official statement regarding the Order of Precedence and it should not be considered a reliable source of information. Link(Daily Mail) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-351948/Camilla-Britains-Fourth-Lady-.html

The article written by the Telegraph was published in 2012, which also used the term "royal insider", which cannot be regarded as a reliable official information. And the title of the Telegraph article is "The Queen asks Catherine to Custey to the Royal Bloods Princess". This means that this is not an adjustment for Camilla but for all non-royal blood princesses, then why is this paragraph written as an adjustment specifically for Camilla? Photo is from 6 years ago

[edit]

Hi, does anyone know if there's another picture we can use at the top of the article? I'm new to editing Wikipedia, and I'm not sure of the guidelines surrounding photos, but I was thinking any official photo of her since she became queen would work better than the current one from 2019. Queen Title

[edit]

This title is wrong, she is Queen Consot 2001:56A:F9F8:B700:59DE:14B3:E72A:4F5C (talk) 18:58, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That is incorrect. Queen Consort is her job description. Her title is Queen Camilla. Sentimental Dork (talk) 20:05, 15 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Buckingham Palace and news sources began calling her "Queen Camilla" after the coronation. During discussion at the time, no one was able to find any legislation or other laws prescribing her title. The article therefore defaults to the title that is used. TFD (talk) 21:55, 15 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The King decides these things (not Wikipedians), so if Buckingham Palace calls her that, that's it. There is no default involved. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 19:01, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is the correct answer. Sentimental Dork (talk) 07:13, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
