Description of suggested change:"Since then, Israel has waged 15 wars against the Gaza Strip" is factually dubious and biased.

The page should be completely re-written as several historical facts are missing and / o er reality distorted; In any case, this page at the current state, should be flagged as unreliable and biased and possibly antisemitic. It completely overlooks facts, attacks and describes Hamas terrorist group as legitimate. Furthermore in 2005 Hamas seized control in Gaza by force, by killing political opponents and torturing Palestinians forced the consensus for fake elections.

The deliberate attack of the Oct 7th 2023 is not mentioned.

If Wikipedia has the least credibility this page shall be completely revisited and not based only on anti-Israeli sources. CharlotteNY16 (talk) 23:14, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wars according to whom?

[edit]

As best as I can tell, these "14 wars" are defined by the gaps between them when there was relative calm in Israel. In some cases, these gaps were still violence-filled on the Gaza side of the conflict zone, yes? For example, the violence during the 2018–2019 Gaza border protests is not judged to be a war by this article's standards. Similarly the Blockade of the Gaza Strip is considered an act of war by many in opposition to Israel. If this article is to be from Israel's point of view (or however else you might want to name that perspective) shouldn't we be up front about that in the lede? —Quantling (talk | contribs) 15:35, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
