Saint Irénée and Alderwood is an unincorporated place in New Brunswick, Canada. It is recognized as a designated place by Statistics Canada.
Demographics
[edit]In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Saint Irénée and Alderwood had a population of 827 living in 332 of its 338 total private dwellings, a change of -2.4% from its 2016 population of 847. With a land area of 63.63 km2 (24.57 sq mi), it had a population density of 13.0/km2 (33.7/sq mi) in 2021.[1]
It was formerly a local service district in Gloucester County, New Brunswick. It is now part of the Regional Municipality of Grand Tracadie–Sheila.[citation needed]
