The Muslim Teli are members of the Teli caste who follow Sunni Islam.[1] They are found in India, Pakistan and Nepal[2]. Their surname is Malik.[3]

Related to the Muslim Teli are the Ghanchi, a community found in Gujarat, who are also involved in the manufacture and trading of cooking oil.[3][2]

They are OBC in Bihar.[4]
