LaVon Bracy Davis is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for House District 40 in the Orlando area.[1] She assumed office on November 8, 2022. Her brother is former Florida state senator Randolph Bracy.[2] She lives in Ocoee, Florida.[3]
Early life and education
[edit]Bracy was born in Rochester, New York. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Howard University and a Juris Doctor from the Florida A&M University College of Law.[4]
Career
[edit]Bracy served as a senior attorney for the Florida Department of Children and Families before joining the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts as director of community programming.[5] She was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in November 2022.[6]
