Kathrynn M. González Sosa (born 12 July 2000) is a professional footballer who most recently played as a midfielder for USL Super League club Fort Lauderdale United FC. Born in the United States, she plays for the Dominican Republic national team. She played college soccer for the East Carolina Pirates and the Marshall Thundering Herd.
Early life
[edit]González was raised in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania.[1] Her father is Puerto Rican and her mother is Dominican.
González attended Pocono Mountain West High School in Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania; East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina; and Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.[1]
International career
[edit]González made her senior debut for the Dominican Republic on 7 July 2021 as a 65th-minute substition in a 0–1 friendly loss to Nicaragua.[4]
