KD: The Devil is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Prem and produced by Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions. The film stars Dhruva Sarja in the titular role, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah and Nora Fatehi. The music was composed by Arjun Janya, while the cinematography and editing were handled by William David and Sanketh Achar respectively.[2]

Production
[edit]Actor Dhruva Sarja announced the new project of the film with director Prem and producer Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions, on 18 April 2022, tentative titled as #KVN4.[3] The film's title as KD: The Devil was announced on 20 October 2024.[4] Reeshma Nanaiah joined the cast to play the female lead.[5] Sanjay Dutt,[6] Shilpa Shetty,[7] V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind and Nora Fatehi[8] joined the cast for important role. Principal photography of the film began after a muhurat shot on 24 Apri 2022 and commenced filming on 22 October 2024.[3]

The music of the film is composed by Arjun Janya, The music rights of the film were acquired by Anand Audio.[2] The first single titled "Shiva Shiva" was released on 24 December 2024.[9] The second single titled "Settagalla" was released on 29 March 2025.[10]

Marketing
[edit]The film's title teaser was released on 20 October 2022, The title teaser features voice over by director Prem in Kannada, alongside Mohanlal in Malayalam, Sanjay Dutt in Hindi and Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil languages.[4] The film's teaser trailer was released on 10 July 2025.[11]
