Deutsch: Südsüdostansicht der Villa Hohe Warte im 19. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Döbling.
Das Gebäude wurde als Knabenwaisenhaus 1907/1908 nach Plänen von Julius Fröhlich, Eduard Lasch und Josef Pürzl ([1]) errichtetː [2]. Bis 1999 wurde es als Kinderheim genutzt. Nach mehreren Besitzerwechsel kaufte die Volkrepublik China 2012 oder 2013 das Objekt samt 15.000 Quadratmeter Garten um 21 Mio. Euro, sanierte es und nutzt es aktuell (2024) als „chinesische UN-Botschaft“ː [3]. Vor dem Gebäude befindet sich ein Denkmal, das der Stifterin des Areals, Gräfin Franziska Andrássy, gewidmet istː [4]. English: South-southeast view of the Villa Hohe Warte in Vienna. |
