Summary

Description
English: Kiritimati Sandpiper (Prosobonia cancellata cancellata), the nominate subspecies of the Tuamotu Sandpiper. The image shows a specimen of the Kiritimati population which is extinct since some time in the first half of the 19th century or possibly later due to introduced predators.
