Svenska: Enligt uppgift förmedlad i samband med donationen visar bilden TpbS 241 på väg till den militära radarstationen på Gotska Sandön 1965. Vid rodret (t v i styrhytten) ses överste (senare generalmajor) Bo Varenius, chef för KA 3 i Fårösund 1964-1966; damerna vid styrbords reling har identifierats som Lilian Varenius (maka till Bo Varenius) och Elisabet Bergstrand, fru till Per-Erik Bergstrand, stabschef Fårösund. Fotografiet skänkt till SMM tillsammans med fartygsmodell av TpbS 247 i skala 1:50.
English: According to information conveyed in connection with the donation, the picture shows TpbS 241 on the way to the military radar station on Gotska Sandön 1965. At the helm (left in the wheelhouse) is Colonel (later Major General) Bo Varenius, head of KA 3 in Fårösund 1964-1966; the ladies at the starboard railing have been identified as Lilian Varenius (wife of Bo Varenius) and Elisabet Bergstrand, wife of Per-Erik Bergstrand, chief of staff of Fårösund. The photograph donated to SMM together with the ship model of TpbS 247 in scale 1:50. |
