English: Watercolour Initialled and dated 1903 lower right 26 x 22 cm.(10 1/4 x 8 5/8 in) A study for the original oil was used on the cover of Studio Magazine in 1904 IMPORTANT: This lot is sold subject to Artists Resale Rights, details of which can be found in our Terms and Conditions.Please note: this watercolour is a preparatory study for the oil painting known as ‘In the Park’, which was exhibited at the Carfax Gallery, 1904 at his first one man exhibition under the title of ‘The Promenade’. The watercolour depicts Dalwinston House, Loch and the estate in the background. If you require any extensive information please contact the Dreweatts picture department.
