DescriptionTempel Smith and Lipizzan stallion 1958.JPG
Tempel Farms founder, Tempel Smith, with one of his Lipizzan stallions in 1958. At the time, the farm was located in Spring Grove, Illinois, but is now in Wadsworth, Illinois.
There's a photographer's stamp on back but the company's name can't be read, except for "Chicago". It was located at 25 or 26 East Huron, Chicago, with an old "Whitehall-4" phone number.
