English: A monument to Sultan Dipatuan Kudarat built at the Tantawan Park at Cotabato City, Maguindanao, Philippines.
Sultan Dipatuan Kudarat c. 1590-1671 The seventh Sultan of Maguindanao, Philippines. Known to the Spaniards as "Corralat", Sultan Kudarat ruled from 1519 to 1671. He is responsible for uniting the Muslim leaders in the then Province of Maguindanao and united with the Sultanate of Sulu against the Spanish Colonizers during the years 1635-1645. He was the Sultan of the greater part of the Island of Mindanao including Cotabato, Davao and Zamboanga. In the year 1645, he signed a peace treaty between the Spanish Colonizers and the Sultanate of Maguindanao which resulted in long years of peace. He was known as a fearless protector of Islam and the growth of peace in the Philippines. He died at the year 1671.

Pinagbuklod ang mga pinunong Muslim at nakipagkaisa sa Sultanato ng Sulu at lumaban sa mga Espanyol. 1635-1645. Naging tanging pinuno ng malawak na bahagi ng Mindanao kabilang ang Davao, Cotabato at Zamboanga. Nilagdaan ang kasunduang pangkapayapaan na nagbunga ng ilang taong katiwasayan sa Mindanao. 1645. Kinilala bilang walang takot na tagapagtanggol ng pananampalatayang Islam at umuusbong na kalayaan ng Pilipinas. Namatay, 1671.
