Summary

Description
English: Steam locomotive taking water at Lisburn station
Preserved former Great Northern Railway (Ireland) S-Class 4.4.0 No. 171 "Slieve Gullion" takes water at Lisburn during the Massereene Railtour from Whitehead to Great Victoria Street station (Belfast) via the branch line from Antrim to Lisburn. Long before the gantry shown in: J2664 : Signal gantry, Lisburn station, the up platform starting signal at Lisburn was a standard GNR(I) underhung semaphore. The heap of matchwood on the right was the remains of Mrs Logue's bookstall - see: J2664 : Bookstall - Lisburn station.
