English: Sappa Creek Bridge in Harlan County, Nebraska. The bridge is located on County Road D just south of Nebraska Highway 89, about two miles east of Stamford. The picture was taken facing northeast (downstream). The Pratt pony truss bridge was built in 1916 by the Illinois Steel Co. and the Milwaukee Bridge Co. It is still in use. The bridge is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. |
