Description
English: Cranium of Saadanius hijazensis as it was found in February 2009 during a joint Saudi Geological Survey and University of Michigan field expedition. The specimen was found with the palate and teeth facing upward, embedded in an iron-rich clastic conglomerate in the middle part of the Shumaysi Formation. Photograph by Iyad S.
