Here we are at the lowest altitude of the entire Glacier Express route, just under 2000 feet. Chur, and the end of the line for me, is four miles ahead. From here to the Chur train station, the scenery runs to farms, light industry, and highways. Right around here, the weather, which had been changeable and moody all day, finally turned to light rain. So it was that I did not even pause for a photo of the Chur train station sign to cap the over 600 photos I had taken today, before getting on the first train to Zürich. |
