English: Reverend Elias Cornelius (1794–1832) was an American missionary. He opened an early school for American Indians, and took several future Cherokee leaders to be enrolled in the ABCFM school in Cornwall, Connecticut.
His father, also named Elias Cornelius, was a physician in the American Revolutionary war.
