English: Fuel terminal that was opened in 1969 by "Pi Glilot Fuel Terminals and Pipelines Ltd. in Jerusalem Forest. In the late 1980's the neighborhood Har Nof was built on the around it.
עברית: מסוף הדלק ירושלים, של חבת "פי גלילות מסופי נפט וצינורות בע"מ", הנמצא במורדות הדרומיים של שכונת הר נוף על הדרך המובילה למושב בית זית. המסוף נחנך בינואר 1969 במטרה לאפשר אחסון וניפוק תזקיקים למכליות כביש לירושלים והסביבה. המסוף נבנה על צלע הר כאשר מכלי הדלק ממוקמים במפלס גבוה מעמדות מילוי המכליות. מילוי המכליות מתבצע בגרביטציה ומושפע מהפרש הגובה בין מכלי הדלק לעמדת המילוי. שטח המוסף הוא כ-55 דונם ויש בו 8 מכלים עם נפח מיכול כולל של 30,000 קילוליטר. הדלק זורם למתקן בצינור תת-קרקעי ממתקן פי גלילות ברמת השרון. |
