Malawian freedom of panorama also covers photography and recording of works of art that are "permanently located in a place outdoors where it can be viewed by the public", but this panorama exception no longer applies if the work is the main subject of the image and the image is used for commercial purposes. Because of this non-commercial restriction, images of copyrighted non-architectural artistic works from Malawi are not allowed on Wikimedia Commons and must be deleted.
