Description
English: erial view of the old Melbourne Gaol, including the Governor's residence on the site of the later Emily McPherson College (built 1926) as well as the exercise yard. Also shows Bowen Street being used as a public thoroughfare before the construction of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
