Silpathorn Award

Because the image is a logo, the entire image is needed to properly convey the meaning intended, and to avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the image.

The copy is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification but lower resolution than the original. Copies made from it will be of inferior quality, unsuitable as artwork on pirate versions or other uses that would compete with the commercial purpose of the original artwork.

For fair use on Silpathorn Award:

• The image is placed at the top of article about the award, which is handed out by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, to show the primary visual image associated with the office, and to help the user quickly identify the work and know they have found what they are looking for.
• The design of the logo is specifically mentioned in the article and the image is used for identification and critical commentary of the work for which it was created.
• This image enhances the article in which it is displayed, as it provides an immediate relevance to the reader more capably than the textual description alone.
• Use of the image does not in any way harm the ability of the organization to carry out its works.
• Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork.
• Use of the logo visually identifies the company and its products in a manner that mere prose cannot, and meets all criteria in WP:NFCC.

Not replaceable; logos are always presumed non-free per WP:LOGO.
