English: Shortly before the groundbreaking ceremony of a redesign of Normal Street in San Diego's Hillcrest Neighborhood. The ceremony was attended by various local dignitaries and included a ceremonial groundbreaking in the sandboxes at the bottom right of the image. After the reconstruction, the Normal Street Promenade will have improved bike lanes and more event space - including dedicated space for the Hillcrest Farmers Market |
