Summary

Description
English: Caption: "The Men Who Never Came Back - This is the last photograph taken of the Fifth Norfolk Regiment as it left England months ago for gallipoli. Not one of these men has yet come back. On the peninsula they charged the Turks in a forest. Their comrades saw them whirling on determined to carry the enemy. And that was the last ever seen of them. There is hope that some of the men are prisoners among the Turks and will ultimately return, but it is only a hope. The Turks are not very kind to prisoners."
