English: A Marine Air Defense Integrated System Mk1 is set for testing during a system integration test at Yuma Proving Grounds in Yuma, Arizona, Sept. 27, 2023. MADIS is a Future Weapons System under development by the Ground Based Air Defense Program Office of Program Executive Office Land Systems that is being designed to modernize Low Altitude Air Defense Battalions by providing increased capability and lethality to meet evolving and future threats. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, serves as the Navy’s independent assessment agent and has a team on-site to assess system performance according to set parameters.
