Summary
| Description |
English: This is a more accurate picture of the MagLIF concept. It is a combination of a Z-Pinch and a laser beam. This is carried out at SNL Z pulsed power facility. The ions spiral together under the influence of a Lorentz force. They are pushed forward in a "snowplow" effect described by Dr. Marshall Rosenbluth.
